The TSA recently put additional security measures in place. This will include increased pat-downs and gate screening, as well as having to stow carry-ons and personal items, including pillows. During flight, passengers will be asked to follow flight crew instructions, such as stowing personal items, turning off electronic equipment and remaining seated during certain portions of the flight.
Passengers traveling domestically and internationally to U.S. destinations should arrive an additional hour earlier to allow for extra time needed for increased screening measures.
