RCI adds Costa Maya to Oasis of the Seas

RCL adds Costa Maya to Oasis of the Seas itineraries, postpones Falmouth

The Oasis of the Seas will call at Costa Maya, Mexico, instead of Falmouth, Jamaica, when the world’s largest cruise ship launches its Western Caribbean itinerary in May 2010.

Royal Caribbean International said that it made the change to 16 sailings on the 5,400-passenger Oasis, which debuts in December, because the Falmouth port would not be ready in time for the ship’s debut.

Craig Milan, senior vice president of land operations for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., in a statement, “completion of the port is going to take longer than we had hoped, but Falmouth will be outstanding when it is completed.”

Passport Requirements - As of June 1, 2009, a valid passport or another Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) compliant document will be required for travel on U.S. domestic sailings upon entering the country unless otherwise indicated in the document below:
